Our Empire

Founded on the

Eras

Era of Crowns

(? – c. -300 Concordant Era)

An age of fractured kingdoms, dynastic rivalries, and noble dominions. Power lay in bloodlines and steel, with law ruled by will and throne. Though marked by cultural flowering and heroic legends, it was also a time of instability, border wars, and unchecked ambition.

"Before unity, there were only crowns—and the cracks between them."

Era of Concord

(c. -300 to -112 Concordant Era)

The founding and flourishing of the Republic of Meridian, an era defined by law, civic virtue, and debate. The eight provinces governed in unity through the High Senate of Concordium. It was a golden age of philosophy, legal codification, and shared purpose—though increasingly strained by internal divisions and rising external threats.

"In Concord, the provinces spoke not as rulers, but as citizens."

Era of Chains

(-112 to 0 Concordant Era)

A century of subjugation under the Praxis Dominion. The old Republic fell, and the provinces were reduced to vassal satrapies ruled by overseers and puppet kings. Dissent was crushed. The Massacre of Meridias marked the breaking point, leading to the rebellion known as The Breaking, and the ultimate formation of the Federation.

"They ruled through fear. We rose through fire."

Concordant Era

(Year 0 to Present – 163 C.E.)

The era of the Imperial Federation of Meridian, born from the Crown Compact. Defined by balance between federal unity and provincial autonomy, governed by law rather than blood. Though not without struggle, this era has endured through institutions, oaths, and the memory of what came before.

"Bound not by Crown, but by concord."
